Reporting to the Temp Store Manager, you are the heart of our Halloween Store team – our front line superstars! We are seeking a driven, self-motivated employee who exudes high energy and enthusiasm. The Halloween Temp Store Staff is typically the first point of contact for our clients. You must have superior customer service skills to meet and EXCEED our client needs. You will be expected to be a quick learner in regards to our costumes, décor and other Halloween supplies to make great recommendations to our clients and help make their shopping experience enjoyable. The successful candidate will identify additional sales opportunities, upsell/cross-sell products and place orders/process payments within our POS system.
The successful candidate will be hard working and able to effectively multi-task, greet clients, restock shelves and give awesome customer service. We are looking for a true team player that is not afraid to jump in and do the hard work and assist in the setup and merchandising of our temp store locations.
This role requires a quick learner who is very organized with an excellent memory and keen attention to detail. If you meet the above requirements and have experience in sales and events, we want YOU! To be part of our dynamic team, the ideal candidate will have the following skills and attributes:
- Retail experience is a BIG asset
- Honest with a positive attitude

- Goal driven and highly organized
- Ability to lift up to 30lbs
- Available to work weekdays, evenings, holidays, and weekends
- Knowledge of rental & POS software an asset
- Ability to work as part of a team or independently
- Ability to work flexible hours
Some positions may start training on a part-time basis in late July. Committed applicants can expect to receive full-time hours (35-40 hrs / week) from the end of August 2017 until mid-November 2017. Staff that EXCEED all expectations could transition into a permanent Showroom Advisor position at our Dartmouth Showroom. The Showroom Advisor is typically the first point of contact for our clients. You must have superior customer service skills and a base knowledge of event rentals to meet and EXCEED our client needs. You will be expected to ascertain all pertinent info regarding an event to ensure recommendation of optimal rental products and services. The successful candidate will identify additional sales opportunities, upsell/cross-sell products and place orders/process payments within our POS and rental software systems.
