Reporting to the NB/PEI Sales Manager, you are the driving force of Moncton’s operations team, our front line leaders! You can easily manage and motivate our events crew from the warehouse right to the job site! You are the face of Glow, the on-site contact engaging with our clients. You must be able to motivate your team to set up the event, stand in front of a bounce during the event then safely, efficiently and PROPERLY pack up the equipment at the end and complete the required paperwork with a smile on your face after 10hrs in the rain.
In order to excel in this role, you will be expected to complete a training and mentorship program. At times, this will require travel to our head office in Dartmouth during your first year. Working long-side our staff will enable you to receive the hands-on experience much needed within our fast-paced environment. You will be expected embrace challenges head-on, as the event business will push you out of your comfort zone! We are searching for candidates who are not afraid of a challenge!
The Glow operations team is seeking strong, organized, motivated and customer service oriented Operations Event Supervisor. This is a hands-on position that offers a wide variety, no day is the same! This opportunity is not a desk job. You will be challenged physically and mentally. If you possess a keen attention to detail, if you are a results-oriented self-starter and if you are a think-on-your-feet trouble-shooter, we want YOU! To sum up, in order to be part of our dynamic team, we need you to have the following skills and attributes:
- Available to work weekends, evenings, early morning and weekdays
- Physically active, able to lift 65lbs
- Clean drivers abstract
- Recreation education or similar
- 2 years related experience required
- Effectively motivate & manage a team
- Attention to detail, especially when completing required paperwork
- Trouble shooting genius
- Hands on supervisor, a LEADER by example
- Control and record event hours and inventory
- Impeccable on-site coordination skills
- Ability to communicate with management and staff

- Experience driving trailers and cube vans
