Who are YOU?

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you are the heart of our operations team, you make the magic happen by implementing our event and design teams’ vision. As a Décor Specialist your attention to detail is impeccable, ensuring prior to an event rental product is clean, intact, and properly packed for transport.  High quality execution is your priority! This position explores many facets of the event décor world from loading/unloading vehicles, deliveries (driving), on-site setups/tear downs, cleaning and prepping product & jobs and a variety of other operational tasks as assigned. We are searching for a proven team player! Our operations team works as a unit and departmental support in other areas may be required. The event business may push you out of your comfort zone but we expect our team to embrace challenges head on!

The ideal candidate can easily take direction however is self-motivated, with a keen desire to learn.

If you are a customer service minded, client focused professional ready to take on the responsibility of joining Glow’s frontline, we want you! To sum up, in order to be part of our dynamic team, we need you to have the following skills and attributes:

  • Experience engaging with customers and clients
  • Knowledge in event services a great asset
  • Available to work weekends, evenings, early morning and weekdays
  • Physically active, able to lift 65lbs
  • Clean drivers abstract
  • Post-Secondary education (Preferably Hospitality, Tourism, Recreation/Events or Décor)
  • 2 years related experience required
  • Attention to detail, especially when completing required paperwork
  • Trouble shooting genius
  • Control and record event hours and inventory
  • Ability to communicate with management and staff

Bonus Points …

  • Experience driving trailers and cube vans
    • Effectively motivate & manage a team
    • Hands on supervisor, a LEADER by example
    • Impeccable on-site coordination skills
