Welcome to Glow the Event Store! What began as a small sign business nearly three decades ago has evolved into Nova Scotia’s premier event rental company. Our headquarters and showroom are nestled in Dartmouth, and a warehouse in Halifax, Glow has 45,000 square feet of storage and 20,000 square feet of short-term rental space at the Pop-Up at the Annex.

Our Products

Our brand now has a vibrant party retail line and a stunning showroom adorned with chic furniture, luxurious linens, and thousands of other decor and lighting rentals tailored for weddings, corporate events, and fundraisers. We offer more games and inflatable amusements than any other business east of Montreal, along with two of Halifax’s biggest Halloween stores.

Glow also spearheads Glow Gardens, a popular holiday event in the Maritimes, boasting over 80,000 attendees annually. This indoor winter festival showcases interactive light gardens, entertainment, a winter market, and exciting amusements. Find more information on Glow Gardens.

Our People

On January 25th, I was honoured to be presented with the Business Leader of the Year Award (Gold) at the Halifax Chamber of Commerce Annual Business Awards.  This prestigious award truly marked the culmination of many years of hard work and dedication from our incredible team, as well as the continued support from our clients and the community of which we’re so proud to be a part.

Today, we have an inventory bursting at the seams with high-quality products, and we’re proud of the accomplishments of our youthful, vibrant and motivated workforce. Our team consists of more than 150 staff during our busiest seasons. Our strength is in the people we employ, and our products and services bring smiles to the faces of a variety of age groups every year.
